Join the Indian River Land Trust for Starry Night on the Lagoon

VERO BEACH — Join the Indian River Land Trust under a star filled sky to celebrate the Indian River Lagoon! The Land Trust’s annual benefit Starry Night on the Lagoon, presented by Stephanie and Orin Smith, will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, November 8 at the beautiful Rock City Gardens in Wabasso.

Co-Chaired by Char Higgins, Carolyn Houpt Antenen and Cathy Durrett-Filusch, the event features scrumptious hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, a buffet dinner and musical entertainment. Guests will also enjoy an art gallery featuring the works of local artists.

The artwork, which highlights the beauty of the Indian River Lagoon, will be available for preview and sale on the Land Trust’s website (www.irlt.org) beginning October 24th. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Land Trust.

The mission of the Indian River Land Trust is to promote the preservation, conservation and improvement of Indian River County’s natural resources and special places for the benefit of the general public and future generations. The Land Trust has protected over 625 acres including 6 miles of Lagoon shoreline.
