Realism and Abstraction come together at Gallery 14 in October

VERO BEACH — Gallery 14 presents Watching Worlds Collide: Realism by Georgina Love and Abstraction by Jessica Phillips.

This innovative show, featuring colorful, whimsical paintings of cattle and other familiar creatures by Georgina Love, juxtaposed with hard-edged geometric paintings by Jessica Phillips, will run October 2-27.

All are invited to a reception on Friday, Oct. 5, from 5-8 p.m. in conjunction with the Vero Beach First Friday Downtown Gallery Stroll.

Also on display will be work by Gallery 14 partners: Edgardo Abello, Lila Blakeslee, Cheri Cruden, Mary Ann Hall, Virginia Knapp, Barbara Landry, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, and Dorothy Napp Schindel, as well as selections by Gallery 14’s represented artists: Francis Mesaros, Bryan Beck, Joan Earnhart, Carol Staub, Viola Pace Knudsen, and Emily Heinzel.
