VERO BEACH — Piper Aircraft Inc., in association with the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraiser has announced Making Strides with Piper, a fundraising initiative to support breast cancer awareness.
“Everyone knows that American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks help fight breast cancer. We’ve just taken it a step further and are sponsoring a flight for some lucky recipients so they can take a walk on the beach in the Bahamas and help fight breast cancer at the same time,” said Piper President and CEO Simon Caldecott.
By holding a chance drawing for a weekend stay for two at Bimini Bay Resort in the Bahamas, Piper hopes to raise awareness and funds to support Making Strides. All of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
No purchase is necessary, though a donation of $25 is suggested.
Tickets will be available from Oct. 1 through Nov. 10. Winner must have a valid passport.
