Jeffrey Lynn Velde, 70, died Sept. 25, 2012, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Peoria, Ill., and lived in Vero Beach for 36 years, coming from Pekin, Ill.
He was owner/operator of Velde Ford for 36 years.
He was a member of Bent Pine Golf Club and a Golden Chief booster for the Florida State University Seminoles.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Patty Velde, of Vero Beach; daughters, Carri Grass, of St. Augustine and Tricia Velde, of Vero Beach; brother, Gary Velde, of Vero Beach; sisters, Kimberly Monroy, of Boca Raton and Jennifer Velde, of Orlando; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy Lynn Velde; father, Lynn Velde; and mother, Sylvia Velde.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 3, at Central Assembly of God, Vero Beach, with the Rev. Larry Boan officiating.
