INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Construction of new sidewalk along the south side of Atlantic Boulevard from 32nd Avenue to 27th Avenue will begin Monday, Oct. 1. City of Vero Beach Public Works crews anticipate construction will take approximately four weeks to complete.
Periodic lane closures may be required during the course of this work. Completion of this section of sidewalk will provide a continuous safe pedestrian travel way along Atlantic Boulevard from 42nd Avenue to 27th Avenue.
Residents should keep in mind that this is a construction zone and heavy equipment will be in use; therefore, exposure to the work area should be kept at a minimum to avoid potential injury.
