George Stone, 83, died Sept. 21, 2012, at the Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in New Brunswick, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach since 1997, coming from Grant-Valkaria.
Before retirement, he worked as an electrician.
He was a former member of the IBEW Local Union 456 in New Jersey.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Angie Stone; sons, Richard G. Stone Jr., of Vero Beach, James E. Stone, of St. Augustine and Michael T. Stone, of Orlando; daughter, Maryann S. Mashburn, of Vero Beach; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene Stone and Charles Stone; and sister, Margaret Galati.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 27 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
