Daniel Joseph Jones, 57, died Sept. 20, 2012, at the Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Pittsfield, Mass., and lived in Vero Beach for 25 years, coming from Virginia.
He worked in the health care/hospitality industry.
He was a member of the St. Helen Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic minister and volunteered for many organizations.
Survivors include his mother, C.J. Jones, of Vero Beach; and brother, Edward Jones, of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Jones; and brother, Frank Jones.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 6 at St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
