VERO BEACH — On Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 to 11 a.m. the Starbucks located at 1235 US Hwy 1, Vero Beach will host Guardian ad Litem (GAL) volunteers who will be available to talk to the public about the opportunities to volunteer.
The Guardian ad Litem (GAL) volunteer program enlists child advocate volunteers who are appointed by a judge to children who are victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect.
Starbucks will provide a free coffee to those who are interested in the GAL program and take the time to visit with GAL volunteers.
