Anita H. Young, 90, died Sept. 22, 2012, at her home.
She was born in Hallowell, Maine, and moved to Vero Beach 25 years ago, coming from Enfield, Conn.
Before retirement, she was employed as a liaison for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, Conn., for 27 years.
She attended Brigham and Womens Nursing Program in Boston.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Messemer, of Port St. John and Maria Messemer of Enfield; son, Frederick Young, of Shoreline, Wash.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold F. Young, and daughter, Lura V. Draegert.
Inurnment will be in Maine.
Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory in Vero Beach.
