Wesley McCloud, 72, died Sept. 7, 2012, at VNA Hospice House.
He was born in Swainsboro, Ga., and was a lifelong resident of Indian River County.
He retired from the Indian River County School District as an elementary schoolteacher.
Survivors include his daughter, Chiquita Lewis, of Fort Lauderdale; sister, Annie L. Spencer, of Miami; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Elijah McCloud.
: Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel, Gifford.
The funeral will be at noon Sept. 15 at the House of God, Oslo.
Burial will follow in Gifford Cemetery.
