SEBASTIAN — Tennis players from the Sebastian River High School mens’ and ladies’ tennis program are donating six Saturdays to help offer a low-cost first tennis experience for Sebastian kids ages 5 to 10 years old.
The event kicks off Thursday with the Nickelodeon Worldwide Day of Play at 5:15 p.m. at the Schumann Tennis Complex.
The event is free and kids don’t even need a tennis racquet. Then on Saturday, six weeks of lessons will begin, with the Sharks players coaching along with long-time Junior Tennis Coach John Danise.
The cost is $36 for six lessons, including the use of the tennis racket and a T-shirt. For more information, call Bobbie or John Danise at 772-589-4278.
