Alexander Castle, 68, died Aug. 26, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Coxsackie, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 49 years, coming from Cairo, N.Y.
He was a veteran of the Army, having served in the Vietnam War.
He was an avid fan of racing and also drove as a stock car driver.
He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Club, Elks and the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife of eight years, Winifred Castle, of Vero Beach; brother, William Castle, of Marksville, N.Y.; sisters, Patricia Labrucci, of Hatfield, Ark., and Susan Krumal, of Schenectady, N.Y.; four children; four stepchildren; and many grandchildren.
Arrangements are by All County Funeral Home & Crematory, Treasure Coast Chapel.
