VERO BEACH — McKee Botanical Garden is preparing for its third annual showcase of Scarecrows in the Garden to be displayed from Oct. 19 through 31.
The Garden is accepting submissions from families, school groups and organizations who would like to see their creations featured in the display.
Scarecrow submissions are FREE for schools, non-profit organizations and families whose scarecrows are freestanding, with the option to purchase a support stake from McKee for $10.
Submission is $25 for commercial entries and includes a stake.
Entry forms can be downloaded at www.mckeegarden.org. Completed forms are due by Oct. 5. Participants will receive two free guest passes to the Garden valid from Oct. 19 through Nov. 19.
