Mark Scharf, 53, died Sept. 5, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born in New York and lived in Indian River County for five years, coming from Holbrook, N.Y.
He was a housekeeper at the Indian River Mall.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristie Scharf, of Vero Beach; his fiancee, Phyllis Akinrele, of Vero Beach.
