Randy A. Kirkland, 56, died Sept. 1, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Kinston, N.C., and lived in Vero Beach for nine years, coming from Canfield, Ohio.
He had worked at Piper Aircraft. He served in the Army.
Survivors include his former wife, Tammy Hinchman; daughter, Sara Ann; parents, Bruce and Sue Kirkland, of Canfield, Ohio; brother, Kenny, of VanceBoro, N.C.; sisters, Mary Beardsley, of West Palm Beach, Debbie Bright, of Coconut Creek, Jennifer Biggiano, of St. Clair Shores, Mich., and Susan Whells, of Austintown, Ohio.
A memorial service was conducted at South Florida National Cemetery with full military honors.
