Ralph Herbert Tripp, 91, died July 4, 2012, in Sarasota.
He was born in New Bedford, Mass., and retired to Vero Beach in 1980.
Before retirement, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 10 years in Buzzard Bay, Mass., and for 20 years in Melbourne.
Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Thompson, of Houston; sons, Ralph Herbert Tripp Jr., of Sarasota and William Bradford Tripp, of Brazil; stepdaughters, Laura Smith, of Fellsmere, Nell Wolfisifer, of Fort Pierce, Carol Dolan and Nancy Cannon, both of Vero Beach; stepsons, John Law and Mark Law, both of Vero Beach; 28 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clemmie Cox Law Tripp; daughter, Carol Harrison; and stepdaughter, Bonnie Law.
He donated his body for medical research.
Arrangements were by Brasota Services in Sarasota and MedCure in Orlando.
