Indian River Habitat’s “Bowl to Build” on Oct. 14 at Vero Bowl

VERO BEACH — The popular Bowl to Build annual fundraiser for Indian River Habitat for Humanity will take place Sunday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. at Vero Bowl, 929 14th Ln. in Vero Beach.  

Bowlers and lane sponsors are still needed at this time. 

In its sixth year, Bowl to Build benefits Habitat’s Scholarship/Education Program, subsidizing educational after-school and summer care for Habitat homeowner children and providing scholarship support for homeowners and/or their children seeking post-secondary educational advancement.

The $30 per person registration fee includes three games of bowling, shoe rental, contests, games, and prizes.

Payment must be made in full at time of registration. Checks should be made payable to Indian River Habitat for Humanity and may be mailed to Indian River Habitat for Humanity, 4568 N. US 1, Vero Beach, FL 32967 Attn: Bowling Tournament, or faxed to (772) 562-8732,  Attn: Shirley Reul.

Habitat’s FY 2013 Community Hero Partner, Girard Equipment, Inc., is the event presenting sponsor.

T-shirt sponsor is The Crockett Group.

Lane sponsors include: PD-go and Allstate, Frank E. Alexander, Jr. & Associates, Inc.

Lane sponsorships are still available for $250 and include logo or name displayed on all 30 lanes throughout the tournament, and one free individual tournament entry.
