Francis D. Barbour, 88, died Sept. 2, 2012 at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Pittsburgh and moved to Florida in 1989, where he lived for 22 years before relocating to Vero Beach four years ago.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Prior to retirement, he was an electrical contractor with Workers Union Local No. 3, Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was a lifetime member of American Legion and member of Electrical Workers Union Local No. 3.
Survivors include his son, David Barbour, of Sebastian; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Barbour.
At the request of the family, services will be private.
Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian.
