Marian R. Hodges, 80, died Aug. 30, 2012, at VNA Hospice House.
She was born in Cleveland and lived in Vero Beach since 1990, coming from Weston, Mass.
She was a member of Community Church of Vero Beach.
She was a member of Bent Pine Golf Club, Vero Beach, and Weston Golf Club.
She attended Ohio State University and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
Survivors include her son, John Hodges, of Hampstead, N.H.; daughter, Jill Hodges, of Seattle; brother, William Read, of Covington, La.; sister, Dorothy Kozan, of Mentor, Ohio; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hodges, in 2004.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 4 at the Indian River Estates West Chapel, Vero Beach.
