John Leonard Hardt, 95, died Aug. 28, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Cincinnati and lived in Vero Beach since 1978, coming from his birthplace.
Before retirement, he was employed by the Foy Johnson Paint Co., starting in sales and progressing to vice president of industrial sales.
He attended the St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Cincinnati, and Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his son, Tim Hardt of Cincinnati, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Marguerite and June; brother, Donald Hardt; and sister. Rosemary Hardt.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date in Cincinnati.
