Laurence E. Flowers Sr., 66, died Aug. 22, 2012, at Kendall Regional Medical Center.
He lived in Vero Beach, but was a longtime resident of Wabasso.
He attended the schools of Indian River County.
Survivors include his sons, Laurence E. Flowers Jr., of Wabasso, and Bobby Flowers and Avery Flowers, of Fort Pierce; mother, Isabelle Flowers, of Wabasso; brothers, Vernon E. Flowers, of Wabasso, Jimmie Lewis Fair, of Port St. Lucie; sister, Jere Flowers Spearman, of Vero Beach; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Sept. 1, with the funeral starting at noon, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Wabasso.
Burial will follow at Wabasso Cemetery.
