INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – The National Weather Service, Tuesday morning, released a preliminary report that a tornado caused damage to Vero Palm Estates, Countryside Mobile Home Park, Paradise Park, and the surrounding areas. It was classified an F-0 Tornado.
The tornado produced a discontinuous path of destruction that affected 62 structures and major damage to 32 structures.
Maximum winds were 80 to 85 m.p.h.
The tornado was on the ground for two minutes and lifted at 11:05 a.m. Monday. It was on the ground for 1.6 miles with a maximum width of 180 yards.
