Allison McNeal new Tourism Director

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce recently announced that Allison McNeal has been named Tourism Director. She will begin her new position on Aug. 1.

McNeal has been with the Chamber for over four years as Director of Membership, where she was involved in various aspects of the Chamber’s programs, focused on growing the membership, and actively worked with members to find a meaningful role within the Chamber.

Today, the Chamber’s membership represents nearly 900 businesses and thousands of employees.

“Allison’s proven track record, in-depth knowledge of the community, her relationships with our members, many of whom are related to the tourism industry, and her marketing experience will be an asset in her new position,” explained Penny Chandler, president, Indian River County Chamber of Commerce.

“We welcome her into the new Tourism Director position and look forward to working with her in this new role,” Chandler added.

McNeal earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University. She is a graduate of Leadership Indian River County. 

The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce is the County’s designated agency for visitor marketing and promotion.

The Chamber’s Tourism Division oversees all industry activities related to the attraction of visitors in an effort to generate the highest possible level of revenue for Indian River County and its businesses.

The Chamber supports all tourism program efforts providing additional resources, as well as overhead for tourism programs and services.

The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce is a 4-star Accredited Chamber representing the business community by providing services, benefits, and leadership for positive economic growth and change.
