Rick Ware named Volunteer of the Year for Salvation Army of IRC

VERO BEACH — The Salvation Army of IRC in Vero Beach announces that Rick Ware has been named Volunteer of The Year for 2011.

“Rick volunteers endless hours every week at the Family Thrift Store helping load and unload donated merchandise, sorting clothing and household goods, and attending to customers inside and outside the store,” said Major Sam Vandenberg.

“We would like to thank Rick for his tireless efforts this past year and look forward to many more years to come. Rick’s generous gift of time exemplifies what “Doing The Most Good” is all about,” added Vandenberg.
