Daniel E. Shivers, 75, died Aug. 13, 2012, in Vero Beach.
He was born in Cairo, Ga., and lived in Vero Beach for 40 years, coming from his birthplace.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta Miles Shivers, of Vero Beach; sons, Ricky Shivers, of Vero Beach, Daniel Shivers, of Cairo and Jack Shivers, of Valdosta; daughters, Dianne Shivers, Shirley Brinson and Liza Shivers, all of Vero Beach, and Linda Bradshaw and Terry Shivers, both of Cairo; brother, David Shivers, of Cairo; and sisters, Rosa Watson and Elnora Lewis, both of Atlanta, and Janie Shivers, of Cairo.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 25 at the House of God in Vero Beach.
Cremation will follow.
