VERO BEACH — If you’ve ever wondered what Riverside Children’s Theatre has to offer, come learn about all their programs and meet the teachers at the Fall Open House from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is no charge for this event, and door prizes can be won.
Fall auditions will be taking place as well on Aug. 25. “The Nutcracker: In Swing Time” will be open to ages 6 and up at 10 a.m. This performance will take place from Dec. 20-23.
“Disney’s Little Mermaid, Jr.” auditions will be open to ages 8 and up at 10 a.m. Be prepared for 16 measures of a song appropriate to the show and also to learn a brief dance. This performance will take place from Dec. 7-16.
Auditions for “Edgar Allen Poe Academy” will be open to ages 10 and up at 12 p.m. Be prepared for 16 measures of a song appropriate to the show and also to learn a brief dance. This show will meet as a tuition based class. Performances for this show will be from Oct. 26-28.
Side By Side Creative Drama Series will also be offered featuring “Little Mermaids and Other Sea Creatures.” This will include storytelling, creative drama, music, and movement for ages 3 and 4. Parents are also welcome. This particular event is priced at just $10 and must be pre-registered by calling (772) 234-8052.
All of the above mentioned activities are scheduled on Saturday, Aug. 25, at Riverside Children’s Theatre, which is located at 3280 Riverside Park Dr. in Vero Beach.
