Perry “Gene” Eugene Bailey, 74, died Aug. 7, 2012, in Vero Beach.
He was born in Richwood, W.Va., and had lived in Ohio and West Virginia before moving to Vero Beach nine years ago.
He served 21 years in the Air Force as a tech sergeant with the 347 Services Squad stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia, retiring in 1977.
Survivors include his son, Steven Bailey, of Vero Beach; daughter, Tanya Ney, of Gainesville; a brother; a sister; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lawana Bailey; six brothers; three sisters; and one granddaughter.
