Joseph P. Strazzulla, 76, died Aug. 14, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Boston and lived in Vero Beach since 1979, coming from Fort Pierce.
He was president of Strazzulla Brothers Co., a Fort Pierce-based citrus and ranching concern.
He served on the Florida Citrus Commission from 1980 to 1988.
A pilot since age 15, he was president of the National Seaplane Pilots Association and a member of the Quiet Birdmen.
He attended the University of Florida.
Survivors include his sons, Philip Strazzulla, Frank Strazzulla and Domenic Strazzulla, all of Vero Beach, and Paul Strazzulla, of Lakeland; daughters, Donna Hollis, of St. Augustine and Teresa Sewell, of Fort Pierce; brother, John Strazzulla, of Vero Beach; sister, Regina Rockefeller, of Lexington, Mass.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Aug. 25 at Holy Cross Church in Vero Beach.
