Citrus Elementary School receives $1,500 inclusion grant

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Dr. Fran Adams, Superintendent of Schools, has received word that Citrus Elementary has received a Florida Inclusion Network grant in the amount of $1,500.

The grant money will be used at Citrus Elementary to benefit their inclusion programs, which support students with disabilities in a general education setting.

The inclusion grant award was based on the combined efforts of the Florida Inclusion Network and Citrus Elementary School.

“Because of your awesome inclusive efforts with the Florida Inclusion Network this year, your school has been chosen to receive a $1,500 inclusion grant,” Ms. Leslie J. Williams, Administrative Support Specialist for the Florida Inclusion Network – BCC, said in her communication.

Dr. Adams expressed her appreciation of the grant and of the work that Citrus Elementary has done with the Florida Inclusion Network.
