David Wayne Mello, 57, died July 26, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born in New Bedford, Mass., and lived in Indian River County for 10 years, coming from New Bedford.
He was self-employed as a cabinet builder.
Survivors include his son, Jonathan Souza, of New Bedford; daughters, Amanda Bessy, of Kansas and Lauri Souza, of New Bedford; mother, Beverly Sylvia Mello, of Rochester, Mass.; father, Frank Mello, of Rochester; sisters, Susan Saveaia, of Acushnet, Mass., Lynne Lima, of Rochester, Jo-Ann Camara, of Sarasota and ReGina Mendonca, of Acushnet; and four grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Stone Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel.
