If you’re searching for school bargains and a great tax break, then head on over to The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County’s two Thrift Shops and All for Paws boutique. This weekend parents can take advantage of tax-free holiday savings on back-to-school clothing and supplies being offered Friday, Aug. 3 through Sunday, Aug. 5.
The shelter’s thrift shops carry an assortment of items, including vintage and contemporary clothing, shoes and accessories. Each shop even has a “Young and Trendy” area for students seeking a stylish look. The shelter’s mall location has a wide selection of animals-themed apparel. Proceeds from all sales will directly benefit the animals of Indian River County.
Hours of operation for both thrift shops will be Friday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 5 from noon to 4 p.m. The Humane Society’s Vero Beach Thrift Shop is located at 4445 20th St., Vero Beach (next to Big Lots), while the Sebastian Thrift Shop can be found at 441 Sebastian Blvd. (CR 512).
The All for Paws boutique can be found in the Indian River Mall, located at
6200 20th St., Vero Beach. Weekend hours are Friday, August 3rd and Saturday, August 4th from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Sunday August 5th from 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
