LeMont Neill, 90, died July 29, 2012, at Consulate Healthcare of Vero Beach.
He was born in New Brunswick, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach since 1985, coming from Fanwood, N.J.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Before retirement, he worked as a formula statistician for Griffith Labs, a spice house manufacturer.
He was a member of Tabernacle Ministries in Vero Beach.
He also was a member of the Lions Club in Vero Beach, and volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors include his wife of nine years, Anne “Popp” Neill; son, George Neill, of Lenox, Ill.; daughter, Patricia Merrill, of Washington, N.J.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty Aitken Neill, in 1998.
A private celebration of life service will be conducted.
