VERO BEACH — The Christian Student Fellowship (CSF) at Indian River State College (IRSC) is hosting a 10th anniversary celebration and fundraising banquet.
CSF works to transform and equip Christian students for leadership on the Treasure Coast and beyond. CSF is a local chapter of the national organization InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF), which actively serves 575 college and university campuses throughout the United States.
CSF is active on all five campuses of IRSC in Vero Beach, Fort Pierce, Okeechobee, Port St. Lucie, and Stuart.
The special guest speaker will be Mr. Alec Hill, national president of IVCF for the past decade. Mr. Hill has also been a Dean and professor at Seattle Pacific University in their School of Business and Economics.
Mr. Hill, who has a law degree from the University of Washington, has published on constitutional law issues and is a leader in maintaining religious freedoms on the American college campus.
Please join us for the first ever CSF fundraising banquet to learn about and commemorate the first ten years of CSF. Help us launch CSF’s next ten years.
All funds will be used for campus ministry support and student scholarships to send up to 40 students to the Urbana Student Missions Conference to be held in St. Louis, Missouri, in December of 2012.
A tax deductible financial offering will be taken at the event.
The banquet is arranged for Friday, September 21, from 6-9 p.m. at the Richardson Center on the Mueller Campus of IRSC in Vero Beach. Seating is limited.
Tickets for the event are $20 per person and may be purchased by contacting Elsie Mokoban. Also contact Elsie if you wish to be a table host or table sponsor at $150 per table.
