Margaret Y. Litcher, 91, died July 17, 2012, at home.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 25 years, coming from Oakland, N.J.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach, and formerly a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Oakland, N.J., where she served as a member of the Parish Council.
She was a member of the Rotary Club in Oakland, N.J.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Stephen Litcher, of Vero Beach; son, Stephen Gregory Litcher, of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; daughter, Marianne Litcher, of Vero Beach; sister, Eleanor Hufnagel, of Franklin Lakes, N.J.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Young and sister, Mary Kelly.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 5011 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. July 28 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.
