Barbara J. Ruggiero, 84, died July 18, 2012, at The Arbors at the Lakes at Pointe West in Vero Beach.
She was born in New York City and moved to Vero Beach seven years ago, coming from Astoria, N.Y.
She was a homemaker.
She attended St. John of the Cross.
She also attended the dances at the senior center in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Patrick Ruggiero, of Vero Beach; daughter, Barbara Lobmeyer, of Vero Beach; son, Patrick Ruggiero, of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Jocelyn Cafone, of Vero Beach; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. July 20 with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon July 21 at St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery.
