VERO BEACH — Regency Park, Vero Beach’s luxury senior living community, is inviting music lovers to its upcoming “Cool Down With Cool Jazz” concert featuring local jazz trio “SoulFege” on Wednesday, July 18, from 2-4 p.m.
Complimentary sparkling cocktails and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres will also be served. The concert is free and open to the public, as well as friends and family of Regency Park residents.
Admission is on a first-come basis.
“Everyone enjoyed SoulFege so much during the January ‘Jazz with Pizzazz’ concert that Regency Park is bringing them back due to popular demand,” said Laurie Surprise, Director of Sales at Regency Park.
“So if you missed them last time, this is your chance to catch them. Also, because this is the kind of music that appeals to all ages, the concert will be hosted in the community’s ballroom to accommodate a larger audience,” Surprise added.
SoulFege is a local jazz trio comprised of some of Vero Beach’s finest musicians. The trio’s members include Dr. Ray Adams, founder of the Vero Beach Choral Society and Director of Artistic Development at Indian River Charter High School.
Bass player Dave Mundy is the Instrumental Jazz teacher at the same high school, and drummer Richie Mola is a music teacher in Palm Bay.
This is Soulfege’s fourth appearance at Regency Park. The group is very flexible about set lists and will often have the audience determine the musical selections.
Audience members who are feeling competitive can even participate in a live version of “Name That Tune.” Prizes will go to the most knowledgeable music aficionados.
Regency Park is located on the east side of the intersection at Indian River Dr. and 41st St.
Parking is free.
Guests may request a tour of the community by talking to the front desk concierge.
