Anne Ulrica Smith, 77, died July 15, 2012, at home.
She was born in Lunenburg, Mass., and lived in Vero Beach for 43 years, coming from Washington, D.C.
She was a career schoolteacher, who taught English at St. Edward’s Lower School from 1975 to 1995.
During her career, she served as the chairman of the Lower School English Department.
After retiring she volunteered as a reader for the WQCS Radio Reading Service.
Survivors include her sons, Jay Arden Smith Jr. of Oviedo and Jon Alan Smith of Fort Pierce; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jay Arden Smith Sr.
Services are private.
