Richard “Dick” “Bud” Tarrant Bischoff died July 11, 2012.
He had a 45-year career in the marine industry as a yacht broker.
He began his career at Rex Marine in Norwalk, Conn., in 1961 and ended his career in 1995 in Fort Lauderdale.
In 2002, he was inducted into the Tulsa University Basketball Hall of Fame.
Survivors include his children, Richard, of Cape May, N.J., Gregory, of Washington, Conn., Lia Brassord, of Amherst, Mass., Jeffrey, of Old Greenwich, Conn., Warren, of Potomac, Md., Nicholas, of West Tisbury, Mass., Lesley King, of Old Greenwich and Rachel Capobianco, of Burlington, Conn.; sister, Lois Smith, of Fairfield, Conn.; and 21 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Warren.
Interment will be in St. Thomas Cemetery in Fairfield.
