Vera S. Gallimore, 89, died July 7, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Garden City Park, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach since 2003, coming from Calabash, N.C.
Before retirement, she was the owner and operator of a test scoring service in New Hyde Park, N.Y.
She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, John William Gallimore Jr.; son, William P. Gallimore, of Vero Beach; daughter, Jean M. Kunath, of North Prairie, Wis.; sisters, Mary Kazakowitz, of Oakdale, N.Y., and Helen Guarino, of Calabash; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Nadia Selion.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. July 13 at Indian River Estates East, Vero Beach.
