CAMERA: Polaroid making a comeback Aug. 15

Going through my parent’s photo albums I can’t help but remember seeing “polaroids.” Some are even in those photo ornaments for Christmas.

Well, it’s making its comeback in digital. Check all the specs here: http://engt.co/LSKM8g

Granted, it is a lot smaller than the one I remember, the one that flips open.

Two of the upgrades are that it takes video and the printed photos are stickers as well. Before you ask, there is no ink cartridge. The paper is embedded with dye crystals. “The ZINK prints emerge fully developed and protected by a smudge-proof, water-resistant coating,” according to a press release from Polaroid.

Don’t worry though, you don’t have to print every photos. It comes with a SD card slot to pull the photos off if you want.

The suggested price is $159.99, the premium paper runs $24.99, and 30-sheet packs sell for $14.99.
