Paul William Ingram, 78, died June 9, 2012, while vacationing in Jamaica.
He was born in Detroit, and lived in Vero Beach for 13 years, coming from Pittsburgh.
Before retirement, he worked for more than 25 years in the field of substance abuse treatment, serving as president and CEO of PBA Inc.; The Second Step (now Tadiso Inc.) in Pittsburgh; and as a consultant to the federal government.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He received his bachelor of arts and master of social work degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.
He was on the board of directors of the Gifford Youth Activity Center.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Eileen Ingram; daughters, Jacquelyn Bass, of Joliet, Ill., and Elaine Ingram, of Indiana; stepson, Joseph Bruck, of Baldwin, N.Y.; stepdaughter, Colleen Bruck, of New York City; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Following a family memorial service, burial was in Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island, N.Y., with military honors.
