VERO BEACH — Three student athletes from Vero Beach recently attended the 52nd Annual Pop Warner All-American Scholar Weekend.
This year’s Tribute to Scholars and Banquet was held in Orlando at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort on May 25-26.
Richard ‘Trey’ Bolinger (Oslo Middle School), Robert ‘Wells’ Fournie (Masters Academy) and Brice Roden (Gifford Middle School ) were recognized as among the top 2% in the nation scholastically, averaging 96% academically as well as being evaluated for their leadership and volunteer contributions to their communities.
This was the second year Richard ‘Trey’ Bolinger achieved this accolade.
All three students participated in the 2011-2012 Vero Beach Venom football season, which is part of the Pop Warner Football National organization.
