VERO BEACH — Every year the Knights of Columbus hold their Tootsie Roll Drive at various locations around Vero Beach. You have seen, and hopefully stuffed money into, the red & yellow canisters and received a Tootsie Roll as a thank you.
SunUp ARC, Special Olympics, and Special Scouts would like to thank not only the Knights of Columbus Council 5629, but also the following businesses for allowing us to have the Tootsie Roll Drive outside of their establishments: Vero Beach K-Mart, Vero Beach WalMart, Tropical Post Office, Sams Club, Vero Beach Main Post Office, Village Beach Market, Winn Dixie, and Miracle Mile Publix .
Because of these caring businesses and the generosity of their patrons, this year the Tootsie Roll Drive raised over $6,200.
