Janice M. Bentlage, 69, died June 29, 2012, at her home in Vero Beach.
She was born in Highland, Ill., and lived in Vero Beach for 14 years, coming from Walshville, Ill.
She was co-owner and operator, with her husband, of Bentlage Farms Inc. in Walshville for 35 years until her retirement in 1998.
She also was a licensed cosmetologist and owned her own business.
She was a graduate of Highland High School, Class of 1961.
She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Vero Beach.
She was a member of Treasure Coast Rock and Gem Society, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, William L. Bentlage, of Vero Beach; son, William David Bentlage, of St. Louis; daughter, Elizabeth Davis, of Vero Beach; sister, Kathy Wilhelm, of Festus, Mo.; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Glenda Oleksiw.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. July 2 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
Another visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. July 3 at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Vero Beach, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Russel Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.
