Charles E. Williams, 83, died June 27, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for 42 years, coming from Broadview, Ill.
He was a supervisor for Western Electric Co., retiring in 1983.
He served in the Army during the Korean War, earning the Korean Service Medal with a Bronze Star and the United Nations Service Medal.
He was a member of the Italian-American Club of Vero Beach and the Korean War Veterans.
Survivors include his son, David Williams, of Vero Beach.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Laura.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. July 2 at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach with the Rev. Clifford V. Melvin of Christ By The Sea United Methodist Church officiating.
Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
