Almanzar Wilfred “Wilkie” Plante, 76, died June 10, 2012.
He was born in Pawtucket, R.I., and lived in Sebastian for 24 years, coming from Pompano Beach.
He was the owner of Al Plante and Son Concrete, Sebastian.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of Revelation Truth Church International, Fellsmere.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Helene Plante; sons, Richard, Milton and Robbie; daughters, Donna and Sharon; brother, Arthur; sister, Melia; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Beatrice; and brother, Richard.

A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. June 30 at Good Shepherd Church of God, Winter Beach, with the Revs. Kenneth L. Miller and Thomas E. Durrance officiating.
Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Sebastian.
