Early Voting

Registered voters can vote early at any designated site in the county beginning 15 days prior to an election and ending the Saturday before Election Day. Early voting locations will be listed on the Supervisor of Elections Office Web site, www.VoteIndianRiver.com, and through local media outlets.

Absentee Ballots

Any qualified Indian River County voter may vote by mail ballot. Request a mail ballot by contacting the Supervisor of Elections office by phone (772) 226-3440, mail or in person. You can also request a mail ballot on the Web site, www.VoteIndianRiver.com, by clicking on the Mail Ballot Request Form.

Mail ballot requests must be submitted no later than six days prior to an election. Your designee, with written authorization, may pick up your mail ballot no earlier than five days prior to the election.

Mail ballot envelopes must be signed by the voter and returned to the Supervisor of Election’s office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day.
