Myron D. Goodrich, 87, died June 21, 2012, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in New Britain, Conn., and lived in Sebastian for 20 years, coming from Spring Hill.
He was the owner of Berlin Building Supply.
He retired as chief after 22 years of active duty with the Kensington, Conn., Volunteer Fire Department.
He served in the Navy.
He attended St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church, Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ivanette Goodrich, of Sebastian; daughters, Ivanette Sinisi, of Davie and Sharon Bichard, of Clermont; brothers, Thomas Goodrich, of South Carolina and Arthur Goodrich, of Connecticut; and three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. June 28 at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church, Sebastian, with the Rev. David G. Newhart officiating.
