A. June Shaw, 91, died June 19, 2012, at Harbor Chase of Vero Beach.
She was born in Vero Beach and spent most of her life in Lafayette, Ind., coming back to Vero Beach in 1980.
She was a successful co-owner of Cabaret Hair Salon in Lafayette.
She received numerous awards honoring her volunteer work for the Environmental Learning Center, Harbor Branch and Indian River Medical Center, where she later worked as gift shop manager.
Survivors include her sons, Keith Shaw and Ted A. Shaw, both of Lafayette; sister, Barbara Cunningham, of Vero Beach, three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard C. Shaw and sister, Particia Kemmer.
