Beverly Dent Baker Jones, 66, died June 16, 2012, at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
She was born in Washington, D.C., and lived in Vero Beach for eight years, coming from Franklin, Tenn., and was formerly of Accokeek, Md.
She was employed by the Vanderbilt Medical Clinic, Franklin.
She volunteered hundreds of hours at the Women’s Abuse Shelter, Franklin.
Survivors include her sons, David A. “Tony” Baker, of Fairview, Tenn., Paul G. Baker, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; father, S. Magruder “Mack” Dent, of Vero Beach; mother, Virginia H. Dent, of Vero Beach; sisters, Eileen Clark-Hawk, of Vero Beach and Katherine V. “Ginger” Dent Hurst, of Cocoa; and three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Vero Beach, P.O. Box 644, Vero Beach, FL 32961.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon June 20 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. at Christ Church, Vero Beach.
Burial will be in Crestlawn Cemetery.
